Fundraisers for student accounts and the general fund
Barnes & Noble Book Fair and Cheesecake Sale - Tuesday, Nov 17th, 6-9pm, Barnes & Noble in Cary. Cheesecake orders must be placed by Mon, Nov 9th! Click HERE for details.
Fruit Sale - Thanks for all your support - the band sold over 350 boxes. The fruit will be on
sale again in November and December.
GroceryCards - Buy giftcards to you favorite grocery store
and earn $$$$ for your student account. Order deadline is the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month.
Scrips - When are and how are SCRIP orders placed? Place your
order online by becoming a member of "Shop with Scrip"
At the right, click on "Not a member?" and folllow the directions

Enrollment Code: Send email to Don Minnick (see contact information below), or pick-up a
code card from the band room at school.
After enrolling, you can support your scrip program and place personal orders from any Internet connected computer.
In addition, you can review past orders, and get detailed information about participating retailers.

Music and Arts - Help with instrument rentals at local schools. The Music and Arts Company has
asked for our help registering new students for instruments at the local middle schools.
They will pay $50 per person for your time. Sorry, but only adults can do this job.
10% of the proceeds will go to the general band fund.
The boosters have already started working these events and they are very easy. This is a great way to make
extra money for your student's account to help pay for band fees or trips in the coming years. Generally takes
2-3 hours of your time and you earn $45 for your student AND $5 for the band.
You must arrive at the meeting 15 minutes before schedule, listen to the presentation to the new band
parents, then help them fill out the form to rent an instrument for next year. Simple!!
Staff One - work at the NC State and/or Duke football games. Must be 17 years old to work.
Runs during football season.
Fundraisers for the general fund only
Band Photos - A web site has
been setup to display pictures taken at Panther Creek Band activities. The site is
pchsband.myphotographer.com. You may purchase pictures
from this site and all proceeds will be donated to the band general fund.
Magnet Sale - The Panther Creek magnets are available for sale at the home football games, open
houses, the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month during lunch or contact the band fundraising chairperson.
Carwash - The goal is to hold a couple carwashes each year. The student officers are in charge
of making all the arrangements. Dates and locations vary.
Restaurant Nights - What a great way to socialize with your friends and make a little money for
the band. Participating Restaurants will give a percentage of the sales to the band. A few restaurants the band has
used are Dairy Queen, Goodberry's and Cold Stone Creamery. The goal is to have 6-8 restaurant nights a year. If
you have a particular place you would like to use, please inform the fundraising chairperson.
Ink Cartridge and Cell phone recycling - Send in your empty ink cartridges to the band room
office to dispose of them. You can also send in your old cell phones to get recycled. The band will earn money by
collecting them - the box will stay in the band room office so you can send them in at any time. If you work in an
office that would allow the band to place a box there, please contact the fundraising chairperson. The more the band
collects, the more money the band makes. Thank you for your support.
Good Search - A Yahoo-powered search engine that donates money to our band each time you search
the Web. To use Good Search, visit the following website: http://www.goodsearch.com
instead of Google to search the internet, and the band will earn money. Go to the website, register with Panther
Creek High School (it doesn't say band, but the $$ will come to the band) and set it up so you automatically use
Goodsearch all the time. What a great way to make a little money for the band. Ask your friends to use it also. The
more people using it, the more money the band will make. Remember to register with Panther Creek High School so we
will get the credit.
